About Arkansas Pulpwood

Three Generations of Forestry Leadership Since 1973

For more than 50 years, Arkansas Pulpwood Co., Inc. has served landowners throughout South Arkansas with trusted forestry expertise and a commitment to responsible land management. Founded in 1973 by John Dawson Jr., the company was built on hard work, integrity, and a passion for the timber industry.

What began as a small pulpwood operation has grown into a respected forestry company providing timber harvesting, timber merchandising, timberland appraisal, and timberland management services. Today, Arkansas Pulpwood remains family-owned and continues to serve landowners with the same values that guided the company from the beginning.
